Have you checked out Algebrator? This is a great help tool and I have used it several times to help me with my roots solver problems. It is really very simple -you just need to enter the problem and it will give you a step by step solution that can help solve your assignment . Try it out and see if it helps .

Hey there! I used Algebrator last year when I was having issues with my college math. This program made solving problems so easy. Since then, I always keep a copy of it on my laptop.

converting fractions, algebraic signs and x-intercept were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is truly the best algebra program that I have ever come across. I have used it through several algebra classes – College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Basic Math. Simply typing in the math problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program.
